A phrase used to describe something that hasn’t happen in a while, all of the sudden begins–and in large amounts. That is the phrase when it rains it pours.
For example, a common weather pattern that has no rain and then a lot of rain in a short amount of time and continuing for a long time.
Can we apply this when it rains it pours to our eventful lives? What’s happening in our lives when there is a pouring? Let us look at this from another perspective.
The idiom, it never rains but it pours, mean that when one bad thing happens, other bad things often happen too and make the situation worse.
Of course in this definition it is the bad and worse, but why could it not just as easily and in large amounts some good?
Events will occur in our life good and the bad. I like to think that these events will pour out in large amounts and continuously based on an attitude of lack of or an attitude of abundance.
It is our mindset that effects or external world, good or bad. Not only having an abundant attitude but have an attitude of gratefulness are important to what life pours out.
Having an attitude of gratefulness means showing thankfulness and appreciation in every aspect of your life, daily for the big and the small things.
It is simple to be thankful for what you have, you’ll always have more; conversely, people that always think of what they don’t have, their pockets will always seem empty.
So no matter what the universe or the world pours out on you, remember to always have an attitude of gratitude, of abundance
